Essence Chic Reloaded is a gorgeous dark steel grey duo chrome polish that shifts from purple to green. The bottle holds 8ml of product.
I've tried to capture the many different looks of this polish under different light conditions and the last three pictures are more representative of how it will look most of the time. The brighter and stronger shifts of the first three pictures will only show when the light hits the polish at just the right angle.

Shade
It's really hard to describe the shade of this polish. Depending on the light, it will either look like a steel grey or a really dark bottle green. It shifts primarily from green to purple, but at certain angles and under dim light you can see flashes of copper as well.

Formula
The formula is alright as far as application goes, it applies very smoothly without flooding or pooling. I love the brush with these Essence polishes. It's flat, wide and nicely tapered, so you can get precise application. However, there are a couple of issues. Brush strokes are a real nightmare with this polish. Then it's really sheer, but I suppose that is the case with most duo chrome polishes.

Application
You need three coats for full opacity. I'd recommend layering this over a black base, then you can get away with one medium coat of Chic Reloaded. The final look is the same whichever way you apply it. You do not get a stronger colour shift if you layer it over black.

Longevity
Unfortunately, I cannot get decent wear out of this polish. I can push it to max 4 days of wear, even with my usual top and base coat and even then I have minor tip wear.

Final Thoughts
I'm not totally blown away by this polish. While it's nice and looks beautiful, the issues really outweigh the positives of this polish. From the small bottle size to the sheerness of the formula coupled with the short lasting power on my nails, I don't think I'll grab another bottle.
