Jaquline USA One Stroke Premium Nail Enamel - Heat Wave J16 Swatch & Review

Jaquline USA One Stroke Premium Nail Enamel - Heat Wave J16 Swatch & Review
2 coats + top coat in sunlight

This is my first nail polish from Jaquline USA. I was in NewU to buy some stuff and couldn't resist picking this shade. Based on the bottle and the small swatch the store clerk applied on my nail I thought it would be a good dupe for my favourite maroon - golden wine from Avon. Sadly that wasn't the case.

Shade
This polish is a bright bridal red with a boat load of gold micro glitter in it. I'm not exaggerating when I say this. When I was removing the polish, all the red colour came off first, leaving my nails looking as if I'd applied gold polish on it. I feel this has a very slight duo-chrome effect as well, probably because of the shimmer. It looks sort of pink in certain lights and red in others.

Formula & Application
The formula on this polish is extremely runny. It's practically like water. But you can still achieve full opacity in 2 coats. You have to wait for the polish to dry completely between coats though, or you'll end up  with a patchy application, as the second coat will drag the polish underneath.

Removal is a bit of a hassle due to the gold micro glitter, but it's nowhere near as bad as removing a full on glitter polish though.

Longevity
This polish has decent wear time. I wore it for five whole days with very minor tip wear. No chips or cracking or anything.

Final Thoughts
I'd say this is a pretty decent polish. If this is your shade of red, go for it!
