Stay Quirky Nail Polish - Noble Purple Swatch and Review

Stay Quirky Nail Polish - Noble Purple Swatch and Review
2 coats + top coat in sunlight

Stay Quirky's Noble Purple is a gorgeous purple nail polish with a ton of micro shimmer. The bottle holds 6ml of polish.

Shade
This is a pretty vibrant, sort of electric purple with a ton of pink and blue micro shimmer. The shimmer adds such beautiful depth to the polish. This polish is honestly a brighter version of my favourite purple by China Glaze called 'Let's Groove'. Let's groove is a tad darker though.

Formula & Application
The formula for this polish is alright. It's fairly pigmented and you need 2 coats for full opacity. There's no issue with brush strokes or patchiness with this polish.

Longevity
So this is where this polish fails miserably. I cannot get this to last for more than 2 days on my nails. By day 2 there's major tip wear and with a dark colour as this, it just looks horrible. I've tried this polish with different top coats and even a base coat, but nothing seems to prevent the tip wear.

See the tip wear on my middle finger in the pic above. This was literally within 24 hours of applying the polish.

Final Thoughts
While I absolutely love this shade, I am so disappointed with how quickly this polish chips. It's such a downer, since this was an okay-ish dupe for one of my favourite polishes. I've noticed a lot of polishes from the 6ml bottle range of Stay Quirky are a hit or miss sort of thing. Gorgeous colours, but you can never be sure about the overall quality of the polish.
